Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in New Haven, Connecticut

There was a construction accident in New Haven, Connecticut on January 17, 2024.  According to reports, workers were renovating a building when they were suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.  Authorities believe the source of the carbon monoxide was a propane-powered saw being used at the scene.  10 workers were hospitalized, as were 4 others who were not part of the work being performed.  The incident highlights the importance of proper ventilation at a work site.
