There was an explosion at the Sandman Signature Fort Worth Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas on January 8, 2024. The hotel is in the recently renovated W.T. Waggoner Building. Early reports indicate there was construction occurring at the time, and the explosion may have been caused by a gas leak on the premises. At least 21 people sustained injuries in the explosion. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation at this time.
