There was an 18-wheeler crash in Vidor, Texas on February 17, 2024. According to reports, an 18-wheeler traveling westbound on Interstate 10 struck the median before flipping. Part of the truck flipped over the median, blocking the eastbound lanes of travel. A Dodge Ram pickup truck heading eastbound was unable to avoid the truck, resulting in a collision. Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for medical care. The accident remains under investigation.
