Walmart Recalls Mainstays Electric Mini Choppers After 5 Injured

With multiple people injured, Walmart is recalling the Mainstays Electric Mini Choppers due to serious laceration risks. This common kitchen appliance has been found to have a serious defect that has already caused 5 injuries. Consumers should immediately cease using the mini chopper and contact legal counsel if injured.

Reported Incidents:

To date, Walmart has received five reports of lacerations related to the assembly, cleaning, or handling of the Mini Choppers. Alarmingly, two of these incidents caused severe injuries which required surgical intervention.

Product Description:

Customers can find the model number, MS14100094536S1, on a label adhered to the underside of the clear plastic bowl, ensuring easy identification of the affected units.

These choppers were sold exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide and through the Walmart.com website from August 2022 through October 2023. These choppers have become a common fixture in kitchens across the country, heightening the danger of this recall.
