There was a small plane crash into Crescent Lake, Alaska on June 18, 2024. The plane, a single-engine Piper PA-18 Super Cub equipped with floats, crashed into Crescent Lake on the Kenai Peninsula with two people on board. The two victims of the crash have been identified as Mark Sletten and Paul Kondrat. The float plane operated by Alaska Float Ratings.
