On October 16, 2025, a Bell AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 369, part of Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, reportedly crashed during routine operations near Imperial Gables, California, close to the Arizona border.
