Three Killed in Cessna 210B Crash Near Parkin, Arkansas

On October 6, 2025, a Cessna 210B Centurion (N9627X) crashed in a marshy area south of Highway 306 near Parkin, Arkansas, killing all three people on board. Arkansas State Police (ASP) said they began searching after reports of a missing/overdue aircraft. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and local fire personnel located the wreckage.

Authorities identified the victims as pilot Bob Clark Bolton Jr., 59, of Heber Springs, and passengers Stanley Mitchell, 52, and Michael “Mike” Montgomery, 56, both of Jonesboro. They were returning from a hunting trip to Louisiana when the airplane lost radar and radio contact with Memphis Air Traffic Control while flying from New Orleans to Jonesboro. The crash site was about one mile south of Highway 306 and two miles west of Highway 75.

Early accounts indicated the airplane reportedly flew into a thunderstorm before the crash; the cause remains under investigation.
