A fatal two-vehicle crash on Saturday morning, January 18, 2026, claimed the life of a Pollok man and left another person seriously injured on College Drive in Lufkin, Texas, according to the Lufkin Police Department. Police reported that 26-year-old Demarcus Hadnot was traveling westbound on College Drive in a Kia when his vehicle was struck by a Mercedes driven by a 65-year-old Lufkin resident. Hadnot was pronounced dead at the scene.
