A Great Lakes 2T-1A-2 Sport Trainer, N621GL, was destroyed after it struck a tree and crashed short of runway 36 at Seminole Lake Gliderport in Lake County, Florida, on Friday morning, August 14, 2026. A post-crash fire followed the impact.
