Four Rescued After Boat Capsizes Near Mouth of Colorado River Off Texas Coast

Four adults were rescued on September 7, 2026, after their vessel capsized near the mouth of the Colorado River off the Texas coast. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, Sector Corpus Christi received a mayday call over VHF Channel 16 at about 8:30 a.m. The vessel was approximately two nautical miles offshore.
