Cessna 206 Crashes in Alaska

There was a small plane crash in Katmai National Park and Preserve, Alaska on July 31, 2021.  The plane, a Cessna 206, was taking off from a pond in the park, when it crashed.  There were four people on board the plane at the time of the crash.  Some of the passengers were injured, and evacuated to Anchorage to receive treatment.  The plane was operated by Branch River Air.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Hartford, Wisconsin on July 31, 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Lexington, Kentucky on July 28, 2021.  A Cessna 150 crashed in Whiteside County, Illinois on July 23, 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Harrah, Oklahoma on July 23, 2021.  A Beechcraft Bonanza plane crashed in Napa County, California on July 16, 2021.  On July 14, 2021, a Piper PA-28-180 crashed in Iowa, killing two.
