Cessna Citation 560X Crash in Farmington, Connecticut – Four Killed

There was a small plane crash in Farmington, Connecticut on September 2, 2021.  The plane, a Cessna Citation 560X, crashed into the Trumpf, Inc. building in the town.  The plane had taken off from Robertson Airport, before experiencing a mechanical failure during takeoff.  All four people on board were killed in the crash.  The plane was headed to Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, North Carolina.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in 2021.  A Cessna TU206 plane crashed in Valley County, Idaho on August 28, 2021. There was a small plane crash in Boerne, Texas on August 28, 2021.  There was a small plane crash in Ontario, California on August 25, 2021.  A Piper J3C-65 crashed in Bates County, Missouri on August 22, 2021.  A Piper PA14 crashed in Alaska on August 14 2021, injuring three on board.  A Cessna 150M plane crashed in Guilford Township, Ohio on August 11, 2021.
