Small Plane Crash in Wake County, North Carolina

There was a small plane crash in Wake County, North Carolina on January 18, 2022.   The plane, a single-engine Thatcher CX4, crashed while attempting to land at the Fuquay-Varina/Angier airfield.  Reports indicate the pilot struck a tree and a flock of birds as he approached the airport.  The FAA will conduct an investigation.
