There was a small plane crash in Olathe, Kansas on February 4, 2022. The plane, a single engine Piper P28A, crashed after taking off from the Johnson County Executive Airport. Reports indicate that shortly after take-off the plane experienced engine trouble. The plane was attempting to return to the airport when it crashed in a wooded area. It is unknown if anyone on board was injured. The accident remains under investigation.
