There was a small plane crash near Houston, Texas on February 17, 2022. The plane, a 2007 Pitts, crashed while landing on the runway at the David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport. Reports indicate the plane experienced a loss of power on the runway, resulting in it striking a guardrail. The plane then flipped several times. The pilot was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
