Boat Explosion in Seneca, Illinois – 15 Injured

There was an explosion on a boat in Seneca, Illinois on May 27, 2022.  During the incident, a boat was at the Spring Brook Marina in LaSalle County, on the Illinois River.  According to reports, the vessel was experiencing engine problems and was refueling at the dock.  A total of 15 people were injured, and 13 were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The explosion and fire remains under investigation.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this tragic accident.

Five people were killed when two motorboats collided on May 28, 2022 on the Wilmington River in Georgia.
