There was a small plane crash in Karnes County, Texas on June 6, 2022. According to reports, a single-engine Cessna 182 crashed about fifty miles southeast of San Antonio. The crash killed two people on board, including the pilot Carin Kopecki of Hobson, Texas, as well as an unidentified minor. The plane was en route from the New Braunfels National Airport to the Kenedy Regional Airport. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this deadly crash.
