There was a small plane crash in Centralia, Illinois on July 23, 2022. According to reports, a Beechcraft 35 Bonanza crashed into a swimming pool near the Centralia Municipal Airport. The plane was en route from Marshall County Airport in Lacon, Illinois. The plane’s passenger was killed in the crash. The pilot was transported to a St. Louis hospital for emergency medical care. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
