There was a helicopter crash near Lake Texoma, Oklahoma on July 1, 2022. According to reports, the helicopter struck power lines while flying in the Johnson Creek area. The pilot was the only person on board at the time. The pilot was transported by boat to a waiting EMS unit, and then taken for medical treatment in Durant, Oklahoma. The crash remains under investigation.
