Crew Member Suffers Chemical Burn on TAYMA EXPRESS

There was an incident on the container ship TAYMA EXPRESS on September 23, 2022.  During the incident, a crew member on board the ship sustained a chemical burn and was severely injured.  At the time, the ship was about 70 nautical miles southeast of Shanghai.  The crew member was able to be disembarked onto another vessel and taken to a hospital for treatment. boat arrived in port from China the day before.  The cause of the incident is unknown at this time.
