There was a deadly accident involving a crane at an Eastman Chemical Co. site in Longview, Texas on October 24, 2022. Details of the accident have not yet been released by local authorities, although Harrison County Sheriff B.J. Fletcher indicated it was a “horrible accident.” The accident remains under investigation. The victim has not yet been publicly identified, although it is known he was a worker with Joyce Crane who was a contractor at the plant.
