Recreational Boat Fire in Destin, Florida

There was a recreational boat fire in Destin, Florida on November 12, 2022.  According to reports, a fire broke out on the boat near Joe’s Bayou boat ramp.  Two passengers attempted to extinguish the fire, but were unable to do so.  The two occupants were able to jump into the water and swim to shore.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
