There was a small plane crash in Anne Arundel County, Maryland on December 26, 2022. The plane, a single-engine Piper Cherokee, crashed into Beards Creek near the Lee Airport. According to reports, the plane experienced engine problems shortly after taking off from Lee Airport. The pilot was the only person on board, and was taken to a local hospital for medical care. The crash remains under investigation.
