Train Derailment in Montgomery County, Texas

There was a derailment of a train in Montgomery County, Texas on May 13, 2023.  Reports indicate a 31 cars of a BNSF freight train derailed near Dacus over the weekend.  The cars were carrying limestone rock.  The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
