There was a small plane crash in Cortland, Illinois on July 27, 2023. According to reports, a single-engine Cessna 177 plane crashed near the DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport. There were two people on board at the time. Both people were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
