There was a jet crash in Murrieta, California on July 8, 2023. According to reports, a twin-engine Cessna Citation 550 crashed while trying to land at the French Valley Airport. There was poor visibility at the time, which may have contributed to plane crashing roughly 500 feet short of the runway. The plane was en route from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
