There was a small plane crash in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota on June 30, 2023. According to reports, an Icon A5 crashed in Mille Lacs Lake. The plane had taken off from the Anoka County Municipal Airport, and was attempting a water landing at the time of the crash. The pilot of the float plane was killed in the crash.
