There was a small plane crash in Osage Beach, Missouri on July 13, 2023. According to reports, a single-engine Piper PA-28 Cherokee crashed into a wooded area near Lake of the Ozarks. At the time, the plane was attempting to take off from the Grand Glaize Airport. Two of the three people on board were killed in the crash. A third passenger was severely injured. The two victims have been identified as Hayden Ritchhart and Evan Vandiver. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
