There was a small plane crash near North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on July 3, 2023. According to reports, a single-engine Piper PA-32 crashed into woods near a golf course and resort. After the crash, the plane was quickly engulfed in flames. Three out of four passengers on board were killed in the crash. One passenger was taken to a local hospital for care.
