There was a deadly helicopter crash in Pompano Beach, Florida on August 28, 2023. According to reports, a Eurocopter EC135 helicopter operated by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office crashed into an apartment building. There were three people on board the helicopter at the time. Two people have been confirmed killed in the crash, one firefighter who was a passenger, as well as a woman who was in the apartment where the crash occurred. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
