There was a fire on the chemical tanker FALCON CHEMIST on August 19, 2023. At the time, the vessel was in the Yellow Sea, west of Gunsan, South Korea. The fire is believed to have started in the engine room. All crew members were evacuated from the ship. It is unclear if anyone sustained burns or injuries.
