Mike Williams, a former wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills died on the morning of September 12, 2023, after succumbing to injuries sustained while working as a construction worker. Williams, age 36, was placed on life support in the intensive care unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa Bay after being struck in the head by a steel beam on a construction job site. Williams is survived by his 8-year-old daughter.
