There was a small plane crash in Southport, North Carolina on October 15, 2023. The plane, a single-engine Czech Sport Aircraft Sportcruiser, crashed Sunday morning. The pilot ejected from the plane before the crash. The pilot was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
