There was a plane crash in Mooresville, North Carolina on December 31, 2023. The plane, a single-engine Piper Malibu Matrix, crashed while attempting to return to the Lake Norman Airpark. Early reports indicate the plan may have experienced an engine failure, leading to the crash. The pilot, Randy Mysliviec, was killed in the crash.
