A commercial plane made an emergency landing in Loudoun County, Virginia on January 19, 2024. The plane, a single-engine Cessna 208 Caravan, made an emergency landing on the Loudoun County Parkway shortly after departing from Dulles International Airport. The plane was operated by Southern Airways Express as Flight 246. The plane was en route to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with two pilots and five passengers on board. It is unclear what the emergency was that required the landing. The incident remains under investigation.
