There was a helicopter crash near Rio Grande City, Texas on March 8, 2024. According to reports, a UH-72 Lakota crashed while on a border patrol mission. There were four people on board: three soldiers and one border patrol agent. Three people have been confirmed killed in the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
