There was a helicopter crash in Newton County, Texas on August 23, 2024. According to reports, a Rotorcraft OH-58A+ helicopter crashed while approaching its fuel truck. The helicopter was operated by Callaway Land Management, LLC. The pilot was killed in the crash. A person standing on the ground was struck by the helicopter’s landing skids and injured as a result. Additional details have not yet been released.
