Small Plane Crashes in Northwest Kansas – One Injured

A small plane crashed on March 10, 2021, in Thomas County, Kansas.  The plane, a fixed wing, multi-engine Beech, crashed shortly after taking off from the Colby Airport.  Reports indicate the wheel dolly remained on the plane after takeoff, and the plane then experienced a right engine failure.  The pilot sustained injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A single-engine Cessna crashed on February 24, 2021, in northwest Iowa, injuring two.  The pilot was killed in small plane crash on February 22, 2021, in Mayfield, Kentucky.  A Piper PA-32 plane crashed on February 20, 2021, in Cullman County, Alabama.  A Piper PA-32 plane crashed on February 19, 2021, in San Pedro, California, killing one.  A single-engine Cessna crashed on February 17, 2021, in Charles County, Maryland.  A small plane crashed on February 8, 2021, in northern Missouri, killing two.  A Cessna 441 Conquest crashed on February 7, 2021, in Franklin County, TN, killing two.  A small plane crashed on February 4, 2021, in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, Alaska, killing two passengers.  A Piper PA-46 crashed on February 2, 2021, in Leicester, Massachusetts.  A Cessna 182 crashed near Hackberry, Louisiana on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, killing two. A plane crashed on January 25, 2021, in Waller County, Texas.  The pilot was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital for medical treatment.  A small plane crashed on January 23, 2021 in Iredell County, North Carolina.   A small airplane crashed on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 near Tallulah, Louisiana, killing one.
