There was a crash involving a Greyhound bus in Ardmore, Alabama on January 29, 2024. The crash occurred on Alabama State Highway 53 while the bus was en route from Tallahassee, Florida to Nashville, Tennessee. During the accident, the Greyhound bus struck a Kia Seltos, before leaving the highway and overturning. The driver of the passenger vehicle, Sidney Benson, was killed as a result of the crash. Eight people who were on the Greyhound bus were taken to local hospitals for treatment. The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
